Glaucoma Management
A co-managed glaucoma service, overseen by Mr David Anderson, Consultant Ophthalmologist - specialist oversight for your ongoing care, without always needing a hospital visit.
Why glaucoma needs ongoing management
Glaucoma is a lifelong condition, not a one-off diagnosis - once you're being monitored or treated for it, regular, reliable follow-up is what actually protects your sight.
See our Eye Health Conditions page for more on what glaucoma is and how it develops.

We collect the data
Your regular monitoring - eye pressure, optic nerve imaging and visual field testing - is carried out locally, here at The Eye Clinic at Rondels, as part of your ongoing care.
Mr Anderson reviews it
Every set of results is reviewed by Mr David Anderson, Consultant Ophthalmologist, who oversees the clinical decisions behind your management plan.
A follow-up consultation
Depending on what the results show, your follow-up is arranged either virtually or face to face - whichever is the right fit for where things stand.
Ongoing monitoring
Glaucoma is managed for life, not treated once - so this cycle repeats at an interval appropriate to your own risk and stability.
The benefit of co-managed care
Specialist oversight, locally delivered
Your monitoring happens here, close to home, while still benefiting from a Consultant Ophthalmologist’s direct review of every result.
Consistent, reliable follow-up
A clear, ongoing cycle of monitoring and review - rather than a single appointment and an open-ended gap until the next one.
