We seek to offer greater sustainability and efficiency in eye healthcare delivery in Jersey by encouraging personal responsibility, better managing resources, and giving patients the opportunity to plan and prioritise necessary services and thereby avoid unnecessary treatments.
Additionally, our service reduces the burden on the taxpayer funded public healthcare system which, as we all are aware, is stretched thin, with a pressing need to focus resources on critical healthcare needs.
As private healthcare providers we seek to offer quality care while managing costs, delivering on the potential for improved service delivery and reduced prices. We also offer more specialised and tailored care options, allowing our patients to select services that are delivered in the way that best meets their needs.
Leaving an indelible mark on the eyecare landscape of tomorrow.

FAQs
How do I access your services?
Accessing our services starts with a comprehensive eye examination with an Optometrist, which is a prelude to our other services. The Optometrist examines your eyes, gives you a prescription you can use to purchase glasses and/or contact lenses, and performs additional tests and imaging that may be required before you see an Ophthalmologist (eye doctor). Depending on your specific needs, if the Optometrist cannot manage your condition they will direct you to the Ophthalmologist best placed to provide the additional mecical eyecare or surgery services you require.
Can I transfer to the Eye Clinic from the eye department at the hospital?
If you are currently under the care of the eye department at the hospital in most cases you can transfer to us and we can manage your ongoing condition. We offer appointments at your convenience, and affordable monthly payment plans.
Do you offer cataract surgery?
We work with surgeons locally and in the UK who offer cataract surgery. Our cataract surgery suite at Rondels isn’t commissioned yet.
Do you provide prescriptions to purchase glasses or contact lenses?
Each Optometrist eye examination includes a prescription to purchase prescription glasses. You have a right to have your prescription dispensed wherever you choose. The testing of your sight and the supply of spectacles in your prescription are closely linked. To avoid any complications, ideally you should have your spectacles made at our sister company OneSpecs. Due to the varying quality of external suppliers, we cannot guarantee your prescription if made up elsewhere. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with spectacles made elsewhere and we need to check the appliance, or recheck the prescription, a charge will be made.
We fit and supply contact lenses and provide an aftercare service. We also provide an emergency medical eyecare service for contact lens induced complications e.g. infections or ulcers. Each Optometrist contact lens consultation or aftercare includes a prescription to purchase contact lenses. You can also use your contact lesnes prescription to purchase contact lenses online from our sister company contactlenses.je.
